Hayley and I go way back. Actually, Hayley and my almost 3 year old go way back. Miss Hayley was a bright light at E's last daycare center. The bond with Hayley and E was instantaneous and obvious. Long after Hayley and E had both left the center, Hayley would make the trip from Taunton to babysit (or hangout with her pint sized friend). It was a bonus that when Chris and I needed a night out, we knew E would be excited for her friend to come over so they could play "Snapchaps," eat pizza and god knows what else. When E met Nick she was just as enamored, maybe even more; for days we heard about "Prince Nick."
When Hayley and Nick got engaged we were psyched. I was so honored when they ask me to shoot their wedding. To prep for all those have-the-potential-to-be super awkward posed moments, we had a nice, long engagement session and worked out all of the kinks. Two outfits, three locations, I think we nailed it. Since my aesthetic is lifestyle I don't typically give too much direction when posing. This made me completely unfiltered whilst trying to stay in the moment. Imagine Nick, who I've met 3 times, as I'm calling out-- "Nick, just get all up in there. Yeah, like that-- just grab her face like you're so into it." "Hayley, just grab your hair like an Instagram model, yeah- you know the ones-- just like that." There's no more ice to break peeps, boom.
Thanks for not running away, guys. You are seriously FIRE and the cutest couple. Can't wait for April 2018!
